ALMATY INDIE FILM FESTIVAL
DIAGONAL
Overview
A young couple is already in the heat of the action when she asks him for a condom. He doesn't have one, but that doesn't seem to put a curb on his enthusiasm.
Director Biography — Anne Thorens
Anne Thorens is an actress, screenwriter and director.
Trained in musicals, she quickly turned to cinema.
She works on deep themes such as the grey areas of human relationships and intimate limits, but it is the search for freedom that is the basis of the stories she brings to the screen.
Director Statement
Diagonal is my first movie. It's a single take of 5 minutes questioning our vision about relationships between man and woman. This film is not an answer, it's made like a question.
