Director Statement

The title Built Lands refers to land shaped and created by human hands, and to the way that art recreates, interprets and constructs that land again. A symbiosis emerges between people and their environment: people are shaped by the surrounding landscape while also changing it. Identifying with the land where they live and work brings the need to love it, care for it and defend it. — Félix Cuadrado Lomas, statement in the final sequence.
